Wordy Wordless Wednesday: Tartar Sauce Goes with Christmas

December 19, 2017 Posted by Valentine - 13 Comments

Mew Mew hello furr-iends. Did you know that I am a fan of Tartar Sauce? No silly, not the saucey kind that humans put on fishes or fishy sticks, but the kitty cat kind as in Grumpy Cat. Miss Ellen’s ginger kitty, Prancie, at made me smile with her recent “Letters to Santa – Part 2” post where she hosted a giveaway of Grumpy Cat-themed items. Prancie has good taste! I was hoping to win her giveaway to add an item to my collection, but a lucky someone else did instead. But that’s OK. Maybe next time. Thanks for featuring such a fun giveaway, Prancie! Anyways, I sure think Tartar Sauce goes with Christmas, don’t you?! For this Wordless Wednesday I thought I’d share photos of my items.

Just before the holiday last year Mom found a cute, felt Grumpy Cat face tag for my collar from an Etsy vendor. Then just after Christmas she bought me the Grumpy Cat pathway lights that she said she’d put up outside this year (though she still hasn’t done so, I might add!). I also have a Grumpy Cat book and plushy. And my most recent acquisition – a kicky toy Mom found for me earlier this year at PetSmart, complete with crunchy sound, colorful ribbons and dingy bells. Cool huh?!

Mom and I even spread a little of the Tartar Sauce love with a mini plushy that went to Mom’s goddaughter for her birthday and a Grumpy Cat Christmas Humbug sweatshirt for Grandpa, both last year.

After Mom and I watched the movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever a few years ago on TV, when it first aired, it inspired Mom to want to start up a cat blog. So thanks for that Tartar Sauce! I love you and as you know, I am still a big fan! Maybe Sandy Paws will bring me a copy of that movie for Christmas so I can rewatch it anytime I want! And I dream of meeting lil’ Miss Tartar in purr-son someday soon and getting her pawtigraph!

Do you have a Grumpy Cat collection? I would love for you to comment and I hope you enjoyed this post! And purr-lease don’t forget to stop by my bloggie this coming weekend. I will not only have my regular-scheduled Saturday post, but I will also join the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop for the first time, hosted by the Kitties Blue! I’m so excited! The weekend will conclude the pirate romance series by myself and Erin the Princess Cat, so don your pirate hat and join us won’t you?! You can catch the finale at both our bloggies on Sunday! Mew Mew!
